A21 is a global nonprofit organization on a mission to abolish slavery everywhere, forever. Across the United States, A21 is working to prevent human trafficking before it happens, identify and assist victims, equip frontline professionals, and help survivors rebuild their lives. Through strategic partnerships and the commitment of supporters, A21 believes trafficking can be prevented, victims can be identified and assisted, perpetrators can be brought to justice, and survivors can step into a life of freedom and independence.

Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing criminal industries in the world, generating an estimated $236 billion annually through the exploitation of nearly 50 million people. The United States is not immune to this crime. Trafficking affects communities across the country, impacting men, women, and children alike.

This grant will support A21’s efforts in the United States to safeguard vulnerable communities, identify and assist victims, and provide long-term restoration for survivors. In the last year alone, A21 identified and assisted more than 1,836 victims, supported 359 survivors through Freedom Centers, trained 4,097 frontline professionals, and reached more than 175,539 vulnerable minors with prevention and education initiatives.
